The Magic Dentist charity is tackling the UK’s children’s oral health crisis through education, driving access to care, and community collaboration.

What makes the programme unique is the use of magic as an evidence-based engagement tool. Children learn and perform magic tricks that reinforce Public Health England messages, taking education into their homes and communities. This long-term relationship embeds prevention into everyday school life, reduces dental anxiety, and normalises positive habits.

Oakwood Dental Practice and The Magic Dentist

We are delighted to be an ambassador for The Magic Dentist as we embark on a project to help ‘bring the magic’ to North Leeds. We’re currently working behind the scenes on the Adopt a School Programme, which will enable us to support a local school and their students with oral health education and essential dental care.

We hope to be able to run educational workshops with other local schools, bringing the wonderful resources from The Magic Dentist to life for children, getting them excited about keeping their teeth clean!
